Halloween

Good afternoon Children of God,

I hope that some of you were able to watch the YouTube videos, join the Facebook group and become acquainted with this blog. Today, I want to talk to you about Halloween. This is a holiday that many of you may look forward to because you can dress as another character and you get lots of candy. This holiday seems very appealing and fun. You might have been going trick or treating most of your life. I want to open your eyes to the truth about this holiday.

This holiday is not good as it seems. Did you know that many evil things happen on this day? I know some of you have dressed as witches, the devil, ghost, and many other characters. So did I. We do not understand that there is a spiritual tie to this holiday. Many Christians have become accustomed to participating in this holiday because they look at it as harmless. It really is not. I just want you guys to be safe and know the truth about many situations.

The word of God, the bible, tells us in Exodus 22:18 to not suffer a witch to live. This means that in bible days, witches would be killed. This is not because God is mean but it is because these people are evil. If you do not know what a witch does, I will teach you. Halloween makes witches look good, like casting spells on people is a good thing. It is not. It destroys the lives of many people including Christians. That is why in the bible, God told them to kill the witches because they are trying to kill us with their spells and evil works. I do not want to scare you guys but you have to know that we live in a real world with good and bad. Not everything is as good as it seems. We even see on certain cartoons like Sophia the First, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Twitches, That's so Raven and many other shows we may have watched that makes being a witch seem innocent. As children of God, we have to know what the difference between good and bad are. The bible also tells us in Deuteronomy 18:10-14, There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you. You shall be blameless before the Lord your God, for these nations, which you are about to dispossess, listen to fortune-tellers and to diviners. But as for you, the Lord your God has not allowed you to do this.

God has been showing us these practices for so long. Witches have been in the land doing these things for a long time. God is not pleased with what they do. On Halloween, this is a day that many of them that God is talking about in the passage above do evil. They use this day to cast spells on people and to come against the plans that God have for your life. You do not have to wait for a day to be a different character, especially an evil character to have fun. You can have fun any day and get candy at anytime. This holiday is not for Christians but for evil worship. Be safe Children of God. Do not fall for everything the world portrays as good.

Prayer: Father, I thank you for opening the eyes of your children to the truth. I thank you that they will not be ignorant of Satan's devices. Lord, I ask that you protect each and everyone who reads this and those who have not discovered this blog. Lord place a hedge around your children to be safe from evil doers. Lord, we thank you for calling us out of darkness into your marvelous light. Thank you for illuminating our path and setting us apart from the world. We thank you that greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world. Thank you God for being our shield and not allowing any harm or danger to come to us. We love you and appreciate you Father for who you are in Jesus' name. Amen.
